Talent of the Week 2~

Wow wow! Guess who do we have here for this talent of the week 2? Its our very own Star Search idol Desmond Tan. He is easily spotted wearing that red bandanna around in school. Of course, there must be more to that red piece of cloth that attracts everyone...
1. Hi Desmond! Please introduce yourself.
Desmond: I’m 22 years old this year and I’m a Real Estate Year 1 student.
Besides pursuing my education, I’m also an artiste with Mediacorp who is pursuing my dreams as a performer to bring entertainment.
“Just get messy in life, at least you know you’re living” is what I believe and how I live my life.
I listen to my heart to do things I love! Like a true Leo, I’m love-taking, fun-loving, dramatic, ambitious and independent.
I have many interests and I enjoy adventuring into new things all the time. Some of my examples are traveling, swimming, running, cycling, cooking, soccer, ‘la-kopi’ with close friends, singing etc.
2. Name 2 most important things in your life, why?
Desmond: God and family. I guess it’s self-explanatory. Haha!
3. Can you share any embarrassing moments you ever had?
Desmond: In secondary school days, during an assembly when my principal was lecturing the entire school over some issues, he caught me combing my hair. I was the last person in the line of my class then. Therefore, I had to walk down the line to the front when the entire school attention was focused SOLELY on me! It was my slowest walk I could have taken!
4. Can you name any hunks/babes in SDE?
Desmond: I did see some hunks and babes in SDE but I don’t know their names. Haha!
5. How about giving a performance of something you are best at? Dance/ sing a song/or any other things.
Desmond: Bartending flairing (very basic moves only)
(Unfortunately, Desmond is really busy and it is difficult to schedule a time to take video of him. However, he is still really kind to share his entertaining photo with us)
6. Tell us more about your talent(s).
Desmond: I realized my passion for performing since kindergarten during a national day performance. Thereafter, I would grab any chance to perform, like singing, skits etc. I enjoy learning new talents to strengthen my entertainment value.
7. Any message you want to leave for your friends?
Desmond: I like to thank my dear FOC OG, Serpens, for being there for me during Star Search and now helping me acclimatize well to school!
