The Game-a-ton event, held on the 11 Oct at SDE 4th floor, was indeed a very good way for everyone to take a break and de-stress themselves. It was a fun evening when everyone came forward with their friends to participate in the various games including the normal board games, cards and other competitive games we had for them. It doesn’t really matter if you are playing the bingo or charades , because drinks and snacks are provided free for all! No deposit was needed too, anyone can play any games you want.

This is the Chinese Chess. Ernest and Wai Kei were having an unusual game of chinese chess on their feet. The pieces were really big which made the game so much exciting.
Jun Han was wrecking his brain to develop the best strategy to attack his rival with people turning invisible around them.
Here comes the most fun and thrilling game, the guessing word game. The player was suppose to act out the word or phrase for the others to guess. The amount of commotion and laughter they made had certainly attracted a crowd to come and join in the fun. Thank you Cindy for making this game a very successful one.

Next is the most anticipated game of Bingo! Participants just have to pay 20 cents to purchase the number card but not more than 5 pieces each round, and the winner of each round can even win prizes! So this is a game of luck which is almost like a lottery game except that you have to get 5 rows of numbers called by the rest to win.

“Who lives in the Pineapple under the sea?” Its the Spongbob squarepants Monopoly! The figurines and currency are so cute that you can’t wait to lay your hands on. This monopoly, which can play up to 8 players, had allowed our SDE guys to interact and try to own as many property as possible without going bankrupt.

It’s a pity nobody tried the game of Twister or Jenga, otherwise I think that the atmosphere filled with liveliness and fun can be brought up to another level.
Last but not least, thank you all who made the Game-a-ton a joyous and memorable event and to all who came and participated in the various games, your presence made the event a success. Hope everyone really enjoy the time interacting and bonding up with fellow SDE friends through the games while relaxing yourselves from the stressful life.
